The 18th Bulgarian Amateur Open Golf Championship was held from 29th of September till 1st of October at the beautiful golf courses of BlackSeaRama Golf & Villas and Lighthouse Golf & SPA Resort.

The tournament was organized with the support of Regnum Carya Resort and Vivacom.

More than 100 golfers from 12 countries, divided into 9 main divisions, took part in the competition. The championship divisions competed in three rounds of 18 holes in the Strokeplay format, and the Plate Divisions competed in three rounds in the Stableford format.

In the men’s championship division, Hristo Yanakiev managed to win the tournament.

After three rounds and great weather conditions, the winners are:

The 17th Bulgarian Amateur Open Golf Championship was held at the BlackSeaRama and Thracian Cliffs from 27th till 29th of May. The tournament was organized with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria and Vivacom, and all the prizes were provided by Reakiro and Pernod Ricard.

A total of 126 golfers from 11 countries, divided into 9 main divisions, took part in the competition. The championship divisions competed in three rounds of 18 holes in the Strokeplay format, and the Plate Divisions competed in three rounds in the Stableford format.

In the men’s and ladies’ championship division, Denis Staykov and Sofia Seldemirova managed to defend their titles from last year.
