Competition conditions - The Championship

1. Competitor must be an amateur as defined by the current Rules of Amateur Status.

2. The minimum entry age of the Mid-Am should be 30 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship.

3. Format of the competition - The Championship Division shall be decided over 54 holes Medal Gross.

4. There will be a Trophy for the Best Nett over 54 holes in the Championship Division.

5. In the event of applications exceeding the maximum limit, all entries shall be decided by ballot, preference given to lower handicaps, which shall take place immediately after the closing date for entries. All unsuccessful entrants will be informed without delay thereafter.

6. Buggies won't be allowed for that division

7. The competitors in the Championship Division who tie for the first place shall play a hole by hole (sudden death) play-off to determine the winner.

8. Any competitor who is not present at their first Tee when called upon to start shall be disqualified.

9. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to set and/or alter starting times.

10. Participants are obliged to use golf balls and driving clubs, that are listed as conforming with the Rules of Golf on the R&A Rules Limited web-site www.randa.org;

11. A competitor shall not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance his performance. Should a competitor show clinical evidence of use of drug for a non – therapeutic purpose, the Committee may require him to undergo a drug test. Any competitor infringing this condition may be disqualified.

12. Pace of Play condition will apply.

13. The Championship Committee reserves the right to vary the Championship Conditions if it is necessary

14. Entrants must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by R&A Rules Limited and sign the declaration in the entry form to that effect.

15. Entrants from outside Bulgaria shall provide a HCP certificate issued by the authority under the handicapping system adopted in the country from which he has entered.

16. The Championship Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor making a false statement on his entry form.

17. The completed and signed entry form must be received by the ‘Bulgarian Golf Association’ not later than 17th of September 2024

18. All disputes must be referred to the Head Referee who will resolve them by use of the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. If it is not possible to resolve a dispute, the Head Referee will place it before the Championship and Rules Committee and its decision shall be final.
Competition conditions - The Plate

2. Format of the competition a. The Plate Division shall be decided over 54 holes Singles Stableford which shall be played in accordance with the rules of Golf as approved by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and in accordance with the local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee

2. The minimum entry age of the Senior and Legends Championships should be 50 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship.

3. Format of the competition • The Senior Championship shall be decided over 54 holes Medal Gross • The Legends Championship shall be decided over 54 holes Stableford

4. There will be a Trophy for 1st Gross and 1st Nett place in the Senior Championship

5. There will be a Trophy for 1st,2nd and 3rd place in the Legends

7. Any player with medical certificate receives priority in booking a buggy. Copy of the medical certificate should be send with the request for booking a buggy 3 weeks before the tournament.
